Our response to recent claims
Published: April 3, 2026
A competing developer has published a blog post containing false and misleading claims about Blueprint Stack, accusing us of copying their product. This page exists because those claims are untrue, and because that blog post was designed to damage our reputation rather than present facts.
We want to be direct: the blog post in question is a deliberate smear campaign by a competitor who sees Blueprint Stack as a threat to their market position. Rather than competing on product quality, they have chosen to publish misleading technical comparisons, cherry-picked screenshots, and inflammatory language intended to mislead the Unreal Engine community.
The claims are false
Blueprint Stack was built from the ground up by our team. It is an AI-powered Unreal Engine plugin that bridges conversational AI agents to the editor via MCP (Model Context Protocol). The architecture, tooling, and implementation are our own original work.
The competing developer knows — or should know — that any two products in the same category (AI + Unreal Engine editing) will share common patterns, API usage, and naming conventions. They have deliberately presented these inevitable similarities as evidence of theft. This is dishonest.
Blueprint Stack is its own product
Blueprint Stack was independently designed, architected, and built by our team. It is its own product with its own codebase, its own design decisions, and its own roadmap. Our users know this because they use it every day.
On the legal threats
The blog post prominently displays legal case numbers, presumably to intimidate us and scare our users. Let us be clear: filing a lawsuit does not make the claims in it true. Anyone can file a lawsuit about anything. We are confident in our position and will defend ourselves fully through the appropriate legal channels.
We find it telling that this developer chose to publish a sensationalized blog post rather than resolve the matter privately or through proper legal proceedings. The intent is clearly to cause reputational damage first and ask questions later.
Our position
Blueprint Stack is our product. We built it. We stand behind every line of code in it. No amount of misleading blog posts will change that.
We will not be bullied by a competitor who would rather tear down others than improve their own product. Our users can judge Blueprint Stack on its merits — and hundreds of them already have.
We reserve all rights to pursue legal action for the defamatory statements made against us.
